What to expect
🕘 9:30 p.m. or 05:00 a.m. – Pick-up from all public bus stops along the main street. Early morning or lunchtime arrival in Istanbul.
🍽️ Breakfast. Afterwards, the sightseeing tour begins with exciting highlights.
🕌 Old Town Tour
Stroll through the heart of historic Istanbul as you visit:
• The majestic Blue Mosque – famous for its stunning blue tiles and six minarets, one of the most iconic sights in Istanbul.
• The historic Hippodrome Square – once the centre of Byzantine public life, home to chariot races and grand ceremonies.
• The ancient Obelisk of Theodosius and the Serpentine Column – fascinating monuments from ancient civilisations, rich in history and symbolism.
🌉 Asian Side of Istanbul
A great opportunity to get a unique insight into everyday Istanbul! Enjoy a scenic drive passing the Golden Horn, the historic inlet that divides the European side of the city. A photo break is included, offering panoramic views and the perfect backdrop to capture your Istanbul memories!
🧥 Visit to a Leather Factory
Witness fine craftsmanship at a local leather factory, and maybe find a stylish piece to take home!
🛍️ Free time for lunch, shopping or exploring the city
Enjoy some personal time to explore Istanbul at your own pace – whether it’s browsing the bazaars, tasting street food, or relaxing at a café.

🚢 Bosphorus Day Cruise & Egyptian (Spice) Bazaar: Discover more of Istanbul, sail between Europe and Asia with stunning views of palaces and mansions along the shore. Stroll through the market – a feast for the senses, get a feel of the Orient and enjoy exotic scents, teas, sweets, and spices.
Free time for those who haven’t booked the optional tour for shopping or visit other highlights of Istanbul:
⛪ St. Sophia Cathedral (Hagia Sophia) – one of the world’s greatest architectural wonders and symbol of Istanbul, with its impressive dome and rich history as both a church and mosque, now a museum admired by visitors from around the world.
🏛️ Topkapi Palace – step into the lavish world of the Ottoman Empire as you explore this sprawling palace complex, once home to sultans, royal courtyards, sacred relics, and breathtaking views over the Bosphorus.
🕘 5:30 p.m. – Departure to Bulgaria. Late arrival in Sunny Beach around midnight on border crossing time.

Important information
🕒 Pick-up delays may occur due to heavy traffic or late arrivals of other tour participants.
🛂 Travel Documents: Carrying a valid ID card or passport is mandatory in accordance with travel regulations required by Turkey. Passports or ID cards should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry. Keep travel documents easily accessible for checks at the border.
📄 Visa requirements: According to the visa regulations of the Republic of Turkey, tourists of various nationalities can travel to Turkey either without a visa or with a pre-issued electronic visa. Tourists from non-EU countries must also hold a valid Bulgarian or Schengen visa allowing two or multiple entries in order to return to Bulgaria.
💱 Currency and Exchange Rates: Turkish lira (TRY) is the local currency. You can pay with Turkish lira, Euros or US dollars are often accepted as well. It’s highly recommended to exchange currency at official exchange offices or banks in city centres or at your hotel. Avoid exchanging money at border crossings, as the rates are often less favourable. While credit and debit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and larger shops, smaller markets and rural areas may prefer cash payments.
